MY RAW TRANSFORMATION

You can see my previous posts on www.welikeitraw.com and on www.rawfu.com You can see my before pics if you scroll down. These pics here were taken a few days ago, Novemeber 2008.

Everything is cool with me right now. I live in Northern montana and there are not many other raw foodies here that I know of but I'm sure they are around here somewhere. I am completely raw right now and that has had it's challenges regarding feelings lately. I put the cacao in the trash bag today because thanks to Kevin's post I finally understood what my rash on my stomach was from. I HAD THE SAME EXCACT THING. Anyway the raw cacao has had a negative effect on me for sure, anxiety lots of it. On the up side....well it's getting colder here but I have been able to maintain a good body temp lately. I'm not sure about sticking with my job for the winter because it keeps me very isolated. Nuetral has been the word for me regarding diet and all, everything is smooth right now. On a typical day I am getting up and having 1 huge green smoothie with very little fruit, moving away from the heavy fruit in my diet. My smoothie has a lemon , a lime -juiced, lots of greens including parsley, collards, kale,1 apple, 1 banana, and 1/2 avocado and ground golden flax. I drink an entire vitamix pitcher sometime in the late morning. Don't generally eat again till after work- usually if I snack it's sunflower seeds or an apple. I drink coconuts sometimes too. Dinner is a large salad with crystal sea salt and lemon. In my salad are All kinds of kale, collards, spinach, cilantro, parsley, carrots, sunny seeds, coconut shavings, pumpkin seeds, wakeme, cucumber, olives , apple etc.Or I'll just drink another green smoothie if I don't feel like salad. I also take"sacred clay" which has silica. Um right now no supplements but I'll add chlorella soon and b12 and zinc. Right now I am reading Alkalize or Die by Baroody. It's awesome. Laying low getting ready for winter and if anyone knows of more info/podcasts from Nature Love I am really excited to hear more from him!! I realize I am experiencing a lack of vit D from lack of being in the sun lately, bummer.
THIS WEEK:

GOALS:- 1)loose about 5-10 pounds max and to stay green very green with my foods.
2) to even my emotions out lately and let go of my feelings of lack of purpose and give it up to the universe
3) Continue to cut back on fruit
4) Incorporate a manual wheatgrass juicer into my kitchen and start growing wheat grass-this may have to wait till after the new year
5) Set the intention of giving my life to a higher power to help me have a more meaningful path.

So I live in Montana and it's been really frigin cold lately. But man raw has been going great. I dicovered I don't even like to think about it much. I was posting exactly what I was eating but, really it's becoming more part of me and less something I want to analize and think about. Yesterday I don't really think I was very hungry and I think I just had a green smoothie and maybe sunflower seeds. Today I had green smoothie and got hungry early like around 1 pm and had a big salad and used the rest of my smoothie with tahini, lemon juice, garlic and agave mixed in again for the best dressing ever. Tomorrow for thankgiving we go to my boyfriend's brothers and they already know I am bringing big salad so that's cool. I actually grow alot of the greens I eat in a green house here and I have grown all my greens from seed. I look at them in there and they are like friends l that I love are so delicious. The more green I stay the easier things seem to get. I am very green lately. Sunflower seeds...now there is a blessing ..often through the day when I really need to munch I grab a handful of those.
